SGT-813 BOHICA INSHORE ROD
Not every fish that lurks beneath the surface of the sea is a 100-plus pound brute. Sarge’s generation of BOHICA rods has been designed to tackle both inshore and near-shore species and applications.
Six spinning models are offered in lengths from 6 feet 6 inches to 7 feet 6 inches and actions that range medium light. Four casting models are available in 7-foot lengths with medium-light actions.
All SGT-813 BOHICA rods start as one-piece 24-ton 100-percent graphite blanks with high-quality components added. The lightweight guides are Fuji® SV or LV frames on spinning rods and Fuji N flared frames on the casting models. Each guide is completed with aluminum oxide inserts, ideal for both monofilament and braided lines.
The custom Fuji® SK2 or ACSM reel seat features a double-anodized, locking nut for a secure rod to reel connection. The BOHICA has a soft light whippy top section, a backbone that suggests it's medium. It is one heck of a plastics rod as well as small swimbaits. It can make the smallest fish feel big.
For optimum results, pair the SGT-813 BOHICA rod with a favorite Shimano or Lew's reel.
